Gamle Museet ("The Old Museum") lies in an architect award winning building and was previously the official Astrup Fearnley Museum of modern art between 1993 and 2012. After the museum moved out, the venue was renovated to become a modern conference and banqueting hall. Since 2015 it has been possible to rent the venue for conferences, exhibitions, banquets, weddings, seminars, company parties, concerts etc.

Selskap og Serveringsgruppen took over the venue in 2014 and started immediately the renovation. Our goal was to keep the uniqueness of the venue, but upgrade the almost 2000 sqm to a full service event & conference center. With small touches the venue can easily transform from a daytime conference to a candle lit dinner setting or a concert and nightclub lounge.

Central location

This, in addition to its private and undisturbed location in Dronningens gate 4, makes this venue extremely versatile. The premises are centrally located in Oslo, just a short walk from public communication with all bus and tram lines in the immediate vicinity and Oslo central station. A parking garage is located within a two minute walk from the venue.
